Way to stick it to us! Giving us a backup quarterback who started most of his career on a horrible team. And taking our 6th, maaaaaaaaaybe our 5th. Damn, we got tore up. Saban's time is running out with this one.

but still if they pick Harrington with the 3rd overall selection they should have the right to criticize Harrington if he sucks.

Exactly. Granted he did suck, but the team just simply sucks. The roster is just horribly put together. Joey's just their whipping boy because they picked up at #3 and he's their quarterback, a really easy target for a crap team.
 
I can see Jets fans reading the same comments on this board on our boy Jay after he signed with the Jets. And again by the Chargers when we got rid of A.J.

Shouldn't the one that picked him that high get more criticism? Well I dunno, maybe he wouldn't. But for me I criticize Wanny for picking Eddie Moore more than Eddie Moore for sucking.

We all know Joey can be good at times. And I am sure he will look great to the Fins in pre-season. Oh man, there will be a QB controversy down there -- people will be talking about how good he looks, how sharp and efficient he is, how is good in so many ways that Daunte is not. Then he will start the season probably okay, but there will be some game on the road, som game where the game is tight, the Miami defense is playing well and keeping them in the game, and Joey just can't make a play, either because he's inaccurate, or because the other team keeps blitzing and he gets rattled and can't make plays with his feet, or fumbles while getting hit in the pocket. The Miami fans will start to wonder, and then maybe the following week the same thing happens where Joey can't seem to get comfortable in the pocket, where Belicheck studies him and breaks his game down and Joey throws 3 INTs. Then they will see how the guy is simply not tough and not athletic at all. They will know and we will smile and say told you so.
