lions rookie rb mikel leshoure out for the year

When you think that team is opening up to be a quality football team, Fairley gets hurt and now Leshoure (who I thought would of made a big impact)

Considering Best is also injury prone, they could have big problems at RB this season. Its a shame because they potentially have a damn good offense.

I LOL'd. People here actually wanted us to draft LeShoure over Thomas. Where would we be at if we did that?

it's the barry curse.the curse for never putting more talent around him and turning down a lot of trade offers including miami and frisco in the mid 90s.(the real reasons he retired early.) ****s coming back to haunt them....

Kevin Smith is still a FA isn't he? Figure they may want to give him a call since he has been in the system before.

Shame about Leshoure . . . could have been a nice 1 2 punch with Best.

They are a snakebit franchise. The Saints and Cardinals used to be snakebit for most of my football watching life, but over the past decade they finally shook off that label. Not so for the poor Lions.
They are emblematic of that dying city

This is the Detroit M.O. No matter how much talent they bring in, players always get hurt and it never gels into anything.

Reminds me of another team I know...

Quite possibly the most ridiculous post I've seen today... and I've seen quite a few idiotic ones. There is no way you can say the same thing would've happened if the Dolphins had drafted him. It's like last year when people said "aren't you glad we didn't draft Sergio Kindle?"
