Lions win...............

Good. Let him go to another team then. Out of the two choices he made, I would choose the Chiefs over the Lions anyday of the week. A better overall coaching staff and they really have no-names backups.

I think he was looking at future possibility of starting.

I agree. Also, look where you'd get to call home. I'd much rather live in the KC area than the Detriot (i.e. New Falluja) area.

Just because you play in "Detroit" (the stadium is in Pontiac, and the training facility is in Allen Park) doesn't mean you live in Detroit. Detroit gives the Detroit metro area a bad name... and it really is sad... it's a nice area.

Another reach by Matt Millen....I don't know how this guy keeps his job as GM....he is the worst GM in the NFL and he should have been fired not Mariuchi.

that is true.

millen is a bum with a 21-59 record in 5 years as president/gm.

i dont know why ford gave him an extension of 5 years with that ****ty performance.

 we signed brock berlin. you need backups in this league to.

That sucks, weren't we the first one to have interest in him, and another team snatches him?? Maybe he wasn't impressive enough for us to think he could be our starter someday.

No, they play in Detroit now. They play in Ford Field, they left Pontiac in 2001. Ford Field is located in downtown Detroit.

woow, i thought miami was interested i guess Detroit will let go of HArrington and have 2 CFLers

Garcia was signed to a one year contract. So he'll be gone. Two, Detroit hasn't signed him yet. From the article I read here: www.lionsredzone.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2030 it sounds like there's still a chance he won't come here.

Should he though, there's nothing saying he'll start. The only reason why Jeff started over Joey is because Mooch wanted him too. With Garcia gone though he might not be a bad idea for a backup qb.

As for Joey leaving Detroit. While there is a chance, to say that he will is absolutly foolish. Matt Millen's head is pretty much up Joey's ***.

As for Mooch being fired. He deserved to be fired, he was conservative and wasn't tough enough on the players. Hell, the players pretty much gave up under him. Joey Harrington also didn't agree with his playcalling. Watch just about any game before he was fired, then watch the game against pittsburgh. It looked like 2 completly different teams. I chose the game against pittsburgh, because if Mooch were coach we would have lost 150-0 with about 50 INTS..

I apoligize for going so far off-topic.
