Not a peep about him. Might be doing something right

One of the main reasons for optimism on defense. I think he will overtake the #1 spot next season. He'll show enough to warrant it this year. That's not a knock on maxwell, I think he'll do well also, but he's in a different situation.

I like Lippet, from day one last year, he showed a lot of potential, and when he got in games last year, he did impress more then disappoint, especially that last game against the Patriots. The only thing against him is speed, but he has shown to be instinctive, so if he plays smart, there should be little times of him getting beat...I am rooting for him.

5th round long shot if tiI remember right maybe 6th will need instinct to make up for his short comings in long speed

The thing that helps Lip to is playing WR in college. He has a lot of potential and by the looks of things we are going to get a good look at him in the preseason.

I saw him live in San Diego....great athlete, but played from behind way too much. If he can learn better technique and stay closer to the receiver instead of relying on his speed all the time to close the gap....he can be a very good corner!

I would have to really give it to our FO for converting him, if he pans out as a contributor. I didn't think there was any way that could work

After playing WR primarily in college, he doesn't have as many bad habits to forget as a lot of new players. He's like clay that needs to be shaped into finished art. The question is whether he translates coaching into performance.

Lippett has the potential to be a better red zone corner than Grimes was.

The knock of course is long speed. But he's way more instinctual than Taylor, and a better potential red zone corner than Grimes.

Wow, didn't think y'all would speak so highly of him. I don't even really remember seeing him in a game.hope he pans out, need all the debth we can get

Got beat deep by Grant yesterday

Its early but it sounds like hes staying attached pretty well...which is important trying to match foot work etc as a big lanky corner
