[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]i know this doesnt say much regarding the Lito part but yest apparently miami and eagle were talking or eagle were interested in JT so maybe he gets including in a deal but if miami is looking to get a low 1st for picking up whoever it is they want QB or groves or w/e i dont see this trade happenign b/c lito will break off any chance of us getting a top pick b/c hes a top player himself.

washington seems desperately wants a big name receiver

yeah cinci turned down a first and third round picks from washington for chad johnson.. if we still had chambers we could of prob got more from them this year.. they are desperate

I can't imagine Cin turning that offer down in this draft, and since CJ wants out. CJ's very best years are in the past, and to get that kind of draft capital for him is a mistake to turn down IMO.

yeah i really have no clue what they are doing... maybe they are just trying to see how much more they can get out of him.. or maybe they are just really stupid and trying to make a point? i dont know, but its gonna be a messed up year for cinci if chad stays... even T.J. Housh said let chad go; hed be a burden.. so yeah i think they are nuts or trying to get more picks

anyone know yet what the cards are asking for anquan?

ireland himself said the team still needs a top flight wr and
anquan boldin sure fits that!!

he is young and just coming into his prime. wanny made a
HUGE mistake passing him up for fletcher so i hope we dont
do that again if he is available. just as we got burned turning
down brees twice!

i would give up the #1 for him next year. ab can score and can
flat out get seperation and we need that in the worse way. plus,
it takes a couple years most of the time for wr's to come around
and we wouldnt have to go through all the growing pains with him.

and i bet if a wr doesnt pan out for us this year in the draft, that
is what we will be looking for next year.

i think a young, pro bowl wr is worth a #1 pick.

I would love to have him, but a #1 is way too much.

I believe lately there are some injury questions on him, and i have to be honest --- I don't want this team to start pawning off picks for players --- I'd like to see this regime prove it though the draft, smart FA pickups, and even waver wire snags (and we'll have first dibbs all year long --- so you can expect a few cherries to fall our way).

Exactly. Too long has this organization thrown away draft picks for players that weren't worth it and then didn't produce once they got here or spent way too much money or "sexy" names in FA that we overrated and then under performed. Now that we have a regime in place that is building this team the correct way, through the draft and with smart mid-range FA pickups everyone wants us to fall back into the old ways of trading away our future for quick fixes now. Look at the Colts, Chargers and Pats. How often do you see them trading away draft picks? I mean, a 4th for Randy Moss last year but that was just the smartest thing ever. The point is you have to groom your own talent and then get draft picks for them, not give up draft picks for other teams talent.

Anyone dumb enough to take a deal including Lito Sheppard, deserves what they get. The guy get's hurt when he falls down. A huge risk from the word go. Obviously the Eagles wanted he replaced and went out and paid a huge amount of money to sign Samuel. Now that want everyone to think they did so when they already had a player they think is worthy of a low first high second round pick....buyer beware!!

he's a top CB talent in this league. when he's healthy he goes to pro bowls. but that's exactly the problem, he is always hurt. still young, but constantly hurt. definitely a 'buyer beware' situation.

they know they need him, to be good so they wont let him go also bc of pride reasons they dont wna back down.

I would love to get Boldin, but I'm glad we got EDDIE @#$%^!!!! MOORE!!!!!

Wanny should burn for that.
