I thought that this is the kind of material that should be shared with all Dolphin fans. I read this on another Dolphin Forum.

"Randy Lange, of the Bergen Record, reports the New York Jets are not an attractive location for veteran free agent quarterbacks such as San Diego Chargers QB Drew Brees, Arizona Cardinals QB Josh McCown, and Cincinnati Bengals QB Jon Kitna. One agent said, "The Jets are not attractive. They're cutting one offensive lineman after another." Another agent said, "I've talked to 20 different GMs and assistant GMs. Not one said, 'Hey, the Jets will do OK this year.' Privately they said, 'There's no way.'"

HAHAHAHA

Well, this may all change if the trade of Abe to Detroit goes thru...

for who Joey Harrington? Seriously, I'm in the dark. Who they trading for, and how will it change things?

Don't get me wrong, the Mangina is a step in the right direction. But think 3-5 year plan. Enjoy the bottom of the division next year. Not smack.

When's the last time a big name free agent came to Miami? Exactly.

We dont waste our money on Big Name free agents unless we really need them, we always have a solid team and try to build through the draft, and add a few smaller pieces in free agency

Maybe Lance Schulters, Kevin Carter, and so on arent big enough for you, but they are great role players

Kevin Carter
Vonnie Holliday
Junior Seau
Keith Traylor
Sammy Morris
Lance Shulters
Marty Booker
Gus Ferrotte

I know they weren't all free agents, and not all are 'big names'. But they are all solid vets. And our coach is just getting started. Who is your coach again? How's the weather in Buffalo??

What's the difference between Buffalo and a dollar? You get FOUR quarters out of the dollar!:dolphins:

Yeah, exactly. No big name free agents have come to Miami in recent memory. Those guys either suck, were way over the hill, or weren't free agents in the first place. Nobody wants to play in a half-empty stadium while wearing teal and tangerine.

Our coach is the former Coach of the Year, by the way.
