I was watching ESPN early this morning with Brewski and Stink looking at this week's games. When it got to Phins- Pats, they focused on RT's protection, with nothing good to say on our OT's, no surprise.

However, they also came after the blocking of our RB's, showing 3-4 film clips which RT would not like to see again. It was very depressing, with the worst showing Clabo getting beat, and a RB (think it was Miller) actually being lifted up in the air by the rusher almost a foot and being rushed into Tannehill as he tried to throw. It was comical.

For the year, DT is ranked #43 in blocking, with Miller at #45 of 53. DT has given up 2 sacks, 0 hits, and 4 hurries, with Miller giving up 1- 1- 1. They "only" gave up 3 of our 26 sacks but, IMO, could have prevented maybe another 3 or 4 in giving RT some wiggle room. They have been as bad as Clabo based on the number of pass protect plays.

I, and many others here, wanted Bradshaw, who blocked very well before injury. On the other side, I wanted Leach, who is the #21 o21 blocking FB in the NFL.

Brewski added that Mr Bill and the Pats LB's have to be "licking their chops" after watching film of Miami's RB's trying to block.

It was Daniel Thomas on the play you're talking about. They've both done a poor job in pass protection.

I think the only people on the Dolphins offense who should feel proud of the way they've played are Hartline, Gibson, Pouncey and Incognito. Even Charles Clay, who has been a very pleasant surprise, has struggled in blocking and dropped some passes.

Thanks for the ID on DT. I cannot remember ever seeing that before in many moons of watching the NFL. It goes with the play action fake to DT, when he was not there, and already blocking a DE who came around Martin at light speed. Pathetic. :(

Other than Tannehill going through QB HELL and playing very well, I totally agree.
