Last season was NOT supposed to be Penn-Pulver as coaches on the Ultimate Fighter.
It was supposed to be Shrek-Pulver or Florian-Pulver. Leading up to a title match on the finale.
Then Pulver lost to Joe Lauzon and they couldn't justify giving Pulver a title match coming off a loss. So they replaced Shrek/Florian winner with Penn.
Penn hated doing the show and wanted no part of it, but $$$$ talked. And BOTH guys hated the fact they had to play up a fake rivalry and hatred towards each other because both guys kinda like the other and are pals.
