tried to sign up on nfl.com for the field pass. was going to pay until i read they dont stream games to the united states? so what, i gotta fly to freaking prague to watch my fins play? thats ridiculous.

What? That doesn't make any sense, who would even buy it except fans out of market who cant see their teams play. I've bought several years worth of field pass before and they stream games live to the US.....

yes they have the field pass on the radio, but they dont have the video available in the US. thats crazy!!
 
It's because the networks paid a lot of money to the broadcast rights. They'd obviously have a huge problem if they paid all of that money, only to have people sign up to stream it online.
 
This season, you'll be able to hear the Fins radio broadcast on your cell phone for free - as long as you use Sprint and have a data package.
 
I HATE Direct Tv!! I swear im cursed. Every place ive ever moved to i was unable to have their service due to blocked signal by trees, other houses, etc. Anybody know when their strangle hold on the NFL market is up? I coulda swore it was by 2010. Anybody know what might happen after their contract is up? Might we see a MLB type deal with streaming. Or even better the new 360 deal now for CFB. Hell, I'd even love a pay per view type thing. ANYTHING IS BETTER THAN DIRECT TV!
 
The greed of the NFL knows no bounds, and as long as they will make a dollar doing it, they don't care if it excludes fans. If I wasn't addicted to Dolphins football, I'd boycott the whole thing. Being stuck in Houston, and not able to get Direct TV, I'm forced as a fan to "steal" via streams. The NFL sucks.

Yeah, theyre contract is up in 2010, then it goes to Verizon
 
yeah i bought direct tv one year just for the purpose of watchin the games because i live in pittsburgh.. but even with the stupid thing i could never get a signal.. i would end up havnin to go out... so i scraped that.. then recently ive been tryin to go out to watch the games, and its always like the only game that isnt playin..
