When the
San Diego State football team opens spring ball next Saturday, don't expect too many stars to come out and shine.
Head coach
Rocky Long said this will be a time to develop younger players and try to improve the team's depth at several positions.
"I know Logan Ketchum can play and I know Miles Burris can play (both linebackers)," Long said. "But there are guys behind them that haven't played very much and they need the reps to get better. We need some of those young linebackers to get good because we don't have a lot of depth there. We also have a lot of cornerbacks like that."
