Has there been a game this year that we haven't given up a 50+ yrd touchdown pass? It doesn't matter who we play, who the qb or wr is, someone is taking it to the house against us.

i would like to see our WR'S vs our DB'S maybe our WR'S would look good for once

our front office has allowed talents like moss, owens and edwards to waltz into the division for a song.(look up what they cost in players and/or draft picks).and all 3 continue to torched us week in and out. yet the fins have been for some reason unable to address this critical issue on our own team. wake up miami!

Well they didn't give one up last week against Carolina. They gave up a 27 yard TD pass, which was their only TD of the game.

And the week before the longest TD pass Tampa had was a 33 yard TD pass.

They gave one up to Moss and the Pats the week before on the 70+ yarder.

And the week before that against the Jets in NY, the longest TD pass given up was 19 yards.

But I see your point. Those long passes for TD's are too much to take.

THe point is that we always seem to be getting torched by long passes whether for TD's or not, yet we've only had ONE this year. Why the hell can't we make those plays dammit?!?!?

There wasn't one agains Carolina, but there was a 35+ yd run from D Williams. Week after week they are giving up this "chunk" yardage and losing the battle of field position. It's one of the things we see everty week.

Also, doesn't it seem that one opposing player always has a career game against Miami? I know it's not the case, but it feels like that.

Every team has a receiver or they aren’t in the picture. I thought it was Pennington’s fault, that we weren’t trying downfield and it was making our receivers look bad. The dink and dunk and never a pass down the field. Now I see the same plays being called and the same butterfingers and hands of stone. Calling out YOU Camarillo, Ginn, Bess, Hanyos Fasano, every stinking one of you guys. And especially the coaches who are responsible for this, and FIXING this.

We have two rookie cornerbacks yet we seem to leave them in single coverage on every play against all pro receivers. They seem to do pretty well except for one killer play every week.

That is because they do not have one linebacker that can cover the RB or TE. We need to roll safeties and this leaves the CBs in man. Under those circumstances, they've done pretty well. It is what it is right now.

Even when we have a game that we don't give up a long TD, we still give up long receptions. This is the growing pains of rookie CBs.

I'm starting to question the way the FO is building this team. If they don't seriously go after some good playmakers in FA or trade then I wouldn't mind a complete house cleaning. Our offense right now is completely unacceptable. When we drive the ball for 9 minutes for a TD and then the other team can storm right back in 2 then there's a problem.

moss for a 4th.edwards for a 3rd and 5th. owens had baggage but was released and signed by the buffoons. these are the divisional dudes who are burning us deep and look at what they cost our rivals. practically nada.
