I've been reading all your posts every single day religiously for the last 2 years but maybe posted something once. So I wanted to make sure that when I did post I was really happy or really upset about our passion, " the Miami Dolphins"!
Yesterday's game upset the hell out of me. Forget Chamber's drops, McMichael's ridiculous fumble or Howard's unbelievably micued int. where he should have just deflected the ball.
The thing that concerns me the most is the playcalling on that last drive! How in the world can a coordinator choose to throw two fades in the corner of the endzone where the blinding sun was so apparent from the SHADOWS that were being created at the end of the game IN THE CORNER OF THE ENDZONE. PLEASE don't tell me that this is hindsight and it is always easy to play the monday morning qb. Man, forget shtgun formations. PLAY action that freagin pass on 1st 2nd or 3rd down. Run the ball, it's 5 darn yards. You wanna throw the fade use the other side of the endzone. Any man with some sort of observational skills would have noticed the sun and the fact that you have a 235lbs back that could draw 2 defenders with a playaction pass out of any other formation but the shtgun.
To all of you, this loss killed me. I live in Montreal and have Sunday ticket just for the phins. The Bills game hurt alot, so did the Falcons game last week. But to spit a game away like this because of mediocre playcalling is just unforgetable. Sorry for all the fans out there. At least we still have 3 divisional games left but..... what are the chances?
