Look at all the teams outside the division leaders nobody is in control. Even teams with good QBs. Flacco, Big Ben, Rivers. Why are we so upset when teams with a QB are playing bad and we are tied for the 6th seed. Everyone is all omg get rid of Tannehill. Would you get rid of QBs listed above who have the same record as our 2nd year QB. Tannehill has progressed and still is, he hasn't stalled out. That's what usually happens QBs stop growing. You see Tannehill improve after he goes through his mistakes. What we need is to let Tannehill master a system. Like the great QBs they stay in a system and master it. I know the playcalling is questionable late in games but really the calls are aggressive and if executed a little bit better it's a great call. Watch the plays guys get open. Just a little bit better throw or route game is over. Last note Andrew Luck and the Colts got destroyed by Arizona and only scored 11 points. Yes we are not playing well. I'm tired of let downs but looking across the league I don't feel as let down. Tannehill needs to stay and master the system. year 3, 4, and 5 I feel he can be really good. If we were say 3-8 I'd feel differently. I think we need to give everyone another year. I don't have it in me to start over again.

Because they think a new regime should win us a SB in one season or they're worthless. :idk:

There are a lot of things in this league that make it hard to win. There is only one thing that really overcomes it and that is an elite QB. There are 3 or 4 of those out there. The league is very balanced and unfortunately we are apart of that scenario. This team like all others without the supreme QB will be a borderline playoff team until we get solid across the board. We need to win with a passing game 1 week, a running game,
The next, then with D the next. Not lose because off them. That is the challenge because that is much more realistic then the go get a elite QB chant that fills this forum. Like it is easy. Ask Luck, ask melty, ask RT, this title still goes to the best team more often than not.

Most logical and rational people aren't pissed with Tannehill... they're mad about coaching, personnel usage, and the offense as a whole.

The fact that we have a bottom 10 OL, the fact that we have a non-existant running game, the fact that our coaching staff cannot make half time adjustments, the fact that our offense sputters...

So when Tannehill screws up, we're already annoyed. I haven't seen too many logical and level-headed fans calling for Tannehill's head... and anyone with a clue knows that he's shown enough that even if we get rid of all the coaches and GM, the new guy will give Tannehill a shot.

The problem lies in coaching, specifically offensively, and he may just get rolled into that complaint. He's far from elite, but the problem with our team lies on the shoulders of three men:

Philbin
Sherman
Ireland

Some people are just never happy. Our team has gone through a lot of of crap most teams don't. Our Offensive line has been a complete disaster. No consistency and have had more turnover than high school kids working at McDonald's. Patterson in/out on the active roster due to injury like a hobo at a brothel. Brandon Gibson done for year midway into season. Dustin Keller out for year before season started. Now RB2 Daniel Thomas out for year. We can arguably just call these all excuses, but the reality is that we have endured all this and can still make the playoffs. People are never sastified......even if they did grab a Snickers.

"Our team has gone through a lot of crap most teams don't" ^^^

What a load of crap, stop apologizing for the shortcomings of this team... do we go through a lot of crap most teams don't for a full decade? No excuse to be this bad this long. It's on coaching and GM, no one else.

Why? Because we look at the individual play and not simply the record. The individual play of the better QB's is still good...it is the rest of the folks around them that suck. It is true for any position. We have players on our team that are very good (not many), and we have a lot that aren't very good (OL).

Go be a Jets or BIlls fan then.....DEUCES!

What a terrible response, because I'm not satisfied with the product that my favorite team is putting out? You're satisfied with the 1 playoff appearance in the past decade? What are you, 16?

Not sure where you got I was satisfied with 1 playoff appearance. I'm not. Keeping things in perspective and seeing how many teams are below .500 and the fact we are still tied for the 6th seed. Point is let Tannehill master a system. Something we haven't been able to do. If i'm not mistaken we haven't had a QB longer than 4 years.

Every season is different. Here is my point. If you can't endure it and are going to complain about it, then leave. Same thing I tell people when they constantly complain about their job. If you don't like it....quit. I don't have time or room for constant complainers who have nothing tangible to give to the cause. Referring to me as a 16 year old? Your the one crying....go join Jonathan Martin on his couch.....away from here. Again...DEUCES!

I think he was referring to my post. Either way I agree with your opinion.

Dump 2 of 3...Sherman and Ireland.
