I think the RB position has had enough injection of talent for this season. Especially after the way its been neglected over the years. Im happy with it.IMO RB is still a need. I expect the run game to be a huge factor in our success. I love the additions of Mostert and Edmonds. Edmonds can spot fill in as a primary back but his best role is as a 3rd down back. Mostert is clearly capable of being your lead back, but his injury history makes me leery of putting all my eggs in one basket. I don't feel Gaskin is a good fit as a zone runner. I would love to bring in Pierre Strong Jr. in the draft. He strikes me as a Mostert clone and a perfect fit. He needs to develop some in the passing games, but he's a natural zone RB. I think we could add him with the pick at 158. I would love to have him sit behind a healthy Mostert for a year and then become a starting level back for us the following year.
If Mostert goes down it could tank the season then everybody will say, "that was easily predictable".I think the RB position has had enough injection of talent for this season. Especially after the way its been neglected over the years. Im happy with it.
I think Middle/ILB is more of a priority and a Centre especially as the team is restricted by its limited draft picks this draft.
Agree but you can say the same for any position. Tua isn't injury free. Parker gets injured, Armstead is known for getting dinged. It happens. If Mostert goes down it could tank the season then everybody will say, "that was easily predictable".
Yep, we don't have the luxury quite yet of having top notch backups when we are still working with sketchy starters.Agree but you can say the same for any position. Tua isn't injury free. Parker gets injured, Armstead is known for getting dinged. It happens.
I read on twitter that Tretter’s injury history is scaring teams off… I guess he had modified practices all year- wouldn’t practice much during the week, but play on Sunday… take this with a grain of salt- I read it on twitter and had no links.. but it could explain why there seems to be a weak market for him right nowIf it's true that Miami is trying to get Tretter, and end up getting him as some are predicting, that will leave Miami with trying to get a Middle or inside LB.
Though the 3rd is not exactly ideal to find a superstar LB, history tells us there is a pretty good chance there will be a solid to much better then that LB still there when Miami picks In the 3rd round, or even one of the 4th round picks could bring us unexpected gold....Just got to

I'll be interested in seeing your "post-Superbowl" positions we need list after we win the Superbowl. - LOL1. MLB
2. C
3. RB
you could add RG/RT to that list, but I think the team is committed to Robert Hunt plus one of the other 14 dudes we have to at least shake out into a second solid starter next to Hunt…
