Guys, in the interest of full disclosure, I am a big Patriots fan with a complete hatred of New York Jet fans. They're arrogant (go only knows why) and have a completely dillusional sense of superiority. I often times check in on thegangreen message board to get a pulse of their collective attitude and self image. Ever since the Ty Law signing they've been touting their team as a Super Bowl contender and such. It's been quite comical. However, they're nasty fans looking to spew hatred and venom. They're already making excuses about yesterday and writing things like "at least we have the 'phins coming in this week." I personally would love to see the dolphins kick their *** this week. As much as I can't stand losing to the dolphins, at least thier fans act civilized. After watching Pennington fold like a tent yesterday, I'm sure Saban is going to unleash Taylor and Zach into the backfield and let 'em really have full throttle on Sunday. Here's hoping for the best.

Cool, very cool from a Pats fan

Jets suck. so does there head coach. He is terrible.

YEA baby...2-0. Tied with the Pats for 1st place in AFC EAST. We're all Jet Haters, Patsy.

Jason Taylor's quote sounds very Patriot Like. The Saban hiring makes me very nervous as a Patriots fan. Once he settles in with his type of players and has a chance to put his stamp on things I think we're in for some epic battles between Belichick and Saban. Count on it. In the meantime, I take almost as much pleasure in watching a Jets loss yesterday as I do in a Patriots win.

If we can put together a performance like we did yesterday than we should be able to beat the Jets, and I would love to take one from them at their stadium this early in the season...

That's funny. I wne to see the Jets play the Pats in NE in 2000 and their fans did not care about the game for a second. They were too busy w/ their NY jealousy chanting "NY sucks, Jets suck, Yankees suck, Mets suck,..." They were just drunks not worried about the game so please spare me your nonsense about Jet fans.

That all depends on how we play, if we play like we can then no you won't win if you play the way you did on Sunday but if we play even close to the way we did Sunday then yes you'll win.

The jets look pretty vulnerable...Penny regardless of what the Jet fans have been saying is not fully back from his surgery..His throws lacked a LOT of velocity im sure he can work thru it but its going to take some time and its not going to happen within the next week. The Jets not having a deep game and their confidence a little fractured is going to make things interesting to say the least. Jet fans who had marked us off as an easy win before the season started should be rethinking.....at least the smart ones.

I get a kick out of Jets fans who have some sort of sanctimonious tone. New York fans are traditionally the most disgraceful and obnoxious fans across all sports. While football fans in general tend to be rowdy and often times drunk and out of hand, New York fans transcend those qualities in all walks of life. I can't wait to hear the excuses on Monday after they fall to 0-2. It will be priceless... haha

There's no doubt that the Jets are notorious for slow starts. What i don't like about this coming week is a team coming off of a *** kicking (I meen really, you guys got smacked :rofl3: ) and having their home opener against a division rival when the other 3 teams are a game ahead of them.

Jets will be fired up to win this game, lets hope the Fins don't have a let down.

UHHH...Nyjunc...if the Phins play like they played on sunday.....they beat anybody....this is the NFL....not college.

If TCU played USC as good as they played on saturday...they get killed.....

See where I am going?

It should be a good game.......Especially with the rag arm immobile QB you got....

The Jets will be nervous heading into the game because as the Broncos found out, you don't know what to expect. You are not ready for our defense and your defense won't know how to prepare for our offense. It will be a hard fought game but in the end you will realize what the Broncos found out yesterday...this is not a finesse Dolphin team. I think you guys will come back strong and play much better than Sunday, but it will not be enough!! Start all the talk about how Denver played poorly, but you will start to notice a trend that all the teams that play us 'play poorly'! We are more physical and we will not only beat you on the scoreboard, but we will beat you down as well! A new era in Fin Football is upon us and it is bad news for the league!!

Priceless.... I'm sure come game time between the Dolphins and Patriots, our back and fourths may get heated but in the meantime, let's take joy in basking in the impending sight of watching Jet fans turn on their own team this Sunday in New Jersey.. Pennington may need a secret service convoy driving home from the stadium....
