Looking Ahead: Must lose games this week for Miami

I'm kind of torn on the Browns and Ravens because we own the tie breaker with Baltimore, and the Ravens still have the Packers, Rams, Bengals, and Steelers. So 10-7 is absolutely a possibility for Baltimore. And Cleveland also have the Raiders, Bengals, Packers, and Steelers.

Here are the following games that Miami needs to get ahead in the wild card hunt:

Browns Raven - Browns Loss

Raiders Chiefs- Raiders loss

Lions Broncos Broncos loss

Bengals Giants Bengals loss would put buffalo away from us to avoid any tie breakers
I can see the Browns and Raiders losing but I think the Bengals and Broncos will win their games. Of course it’s the NFL, so anything can happen.

On a side note, I’m rooting for Washington to get their 7th win against the 8-4 cowboys.

So many team sitting with 6 wins, if SF loses today our pick could start to fall.

I know, I know, we’re rooting for SF today.

Hoping that Jet-Saints is just brutal. 6-3 Jets in a turnover fest. Coupled with a Seahawks win over Houston, those two early Jets picks could slide behind the Giants. A more suitable trading partner for us, should we want that option.

I see the Brown, Raiders, and Bengals losing, but not sure I see the Lions winning 2 in a row.

Well looking good for in regards to Oakland for us. One play strip fumble TD for the chiefs.

Cowboys 3-0. If Dallas called in the off season and asked how much of Amari Coopers salary we would take, what would you say? I’m gonna take a look at his contract. I know they are in a deep hole.

Edit: looks like his deal isn’t too bad for Dallas. They can cut him and only take a 6M cap hit. He’s due $20 million in base salary each of the next 3 seasons, with $2M in prorated salary each of the next 3 years. Dallas is about $30M over the cap IIRC. Wouldn’t make sense for Dallas to trade him.

Id definitely go after Michael Gallup. Washington needs a QB bad.

The Lions are missing 11 players Denver is not losing the other games we have a shot although I doubt the Giants win or even sniff a win. Just being realistic.

Thanks for making this thread. During this winning streak I haven't really paid attention to the playoff picture or other teams' records. I'm rooting for the Lions regardless cause of former Dolphins' coach Dan the Man Campbell. He is a class act and I was moved by him dedicating the Lions' win to the victims of the school shooting at Oxford High School during his post game conference.

I just saw that the Bengals are playing the 49er’s, not the Giants. The Chargers are playing the Giants.

I think the Bengals possibility of losing to the 49ers is a lot higher than a loss to the Giants would have been.

7-0 Houston over Seattle. Davis Mills with the early TD pass. Well that’s interesting. Let’s see how badly Russ wants out of Seattle.

The Seahawks have to trade Wilson, given where they are and the pick they gave up. Time to start over.
