If we were to acquire Ahmad Brooks in this years supplemental draft and he pans out for us we as a team would have basically taken care of our biggest weakness therefore we would be able to pick the best player available instead of having to fill a gap in our roster. Saban and Mueller are taking this team into a great direction, soon we can become perennial winners instead of inconsistent year in and year out.

We will always have oles to fill. The team is getting older, and contracts end. I am excited to see how we look this season, then we should know more on what to expect for next years draft.

I agree.

This is true but that is why it is important for Matt Roth, Manny Wright and the other youngsters to step up so that when the contracts of our aging veterans stars end, they won't be missed as much. When these guys become starters the process of adding depth through the draft and free agency begins again.

yes, the injecting youth in the team. But like I said, always filling holes

I would like to see us get that Blades kid out of Pitt.

If Zbikowski runs a good 40 I would not mind him in the first. Him and Jason Allen would be a great young safety combo.

I can see us looking for a SS next year and more defensive and offensive lineman, as well as one more LB even if we get Brooks.

He would be sweet....I think he will run well, he returns punts for them.

Yeah that kid is amazing! I saw him play in high school and the guy can flat out play. He's a monster and i've only heard good things about him.

I see us looking towards Laron Landry again. And there's plenty of room to keep upgrading on the offensive line

Mark my words. We will draft a player on defense in the first round for the second year in a row. Anybody have a list of SEC players on defense who are eligible for the 2007 Draft?

We are set at the skill positions with Daunte Culpepper, Ronnie Brown, Ricky Williams, Chris Chambers and Randy McMichael for a long time.

We need to continue to get younger on defense.
