How would you approach the Jets? Geno was just confirmed to have a torn ACL so we are probably seeing Fitzpatrick back there who had a horrid early season. They are playing the Browns so he has an opportunity to get back on track a little.

From an offensive standpoint, how would you approach the game? The Jets have a stout rush defense. Should we attack their strength with Ajayi or knowing they will stack up against the run come out slinging the ball?

Strength against strength. Make them stop the JTrain! No one has stopped him yet behind the starting oline.

Mobile Qbs that can run around like Fitzpatrick tends to give use fits. Especially when you acknowledge his chemistry with Marshall who's going to eat. Honestly this is going to to a hard fought game for us and I'm not sure how we're going to slow them down on defense.

Havent watched any Jets game, but continue to pound the run and get some PA off of that.

I think a game plan similar to the Bills will be used. I would actually rather go against Fitz than Geno. I think Fitz ids the better QB but Geno is better at breaking the pocket and making plays. We should be able to pressure Fitz pretty well. I could see us doing some bumping with the TE and then hitting him on some short dump offs over the line if they run blitz their LBs.....I just don't know which TE! haha

Considering they are lousy vs the pass, we may have to use the pass to set up the run. This will be the best run defense we've faced to date ..just above the Seahawks. David Johnson put 111 yards and 3 TD's on them and 167 yards as a team so it's not like we cannot run on them. They've given up 13 passing TD's. 4th worst in the league. They held Baltimore to 6 yards rushing!

Same principle though. Line up and slap somebody in the mouth. both sides of the ball. Hopefully it is unseasonable hot that day.

Jets face Cleveland this week. No telling what the injury report will say for week 9.

Getting Culliver & possibly Benwikere back will help. Still wondering about Mitchell and Jordan...not that I am missing them.

Just don't play down to their level. I think we can win whether we run OR pass. We just can't take them for granted.

Hope and Pray that one of their big three DLineman has the flu cause they are stout in the middle. That being said they haven't played like it this year so I don't know whats up.

It'll be a test. Pitts rushing D is 16th and Buffalos 27. It all depends on the OL

Press man on defense all the way. That's why we got big CBs so we can defend against Marshall and Decker (is he back yet?). We need to stop the run and force Fitzpatrick into throwing the ball, eventually he will turn it over and then they come in bunches.

Offensively I might start with some play action and roll outs just to loosen the defense up some. You know they're going to want to stop Ajayi early...that's going to be their focus. Use it to your advantage. They give up 74 yards per game on the ground but over 280 in the air. Why play into their strengths early when we can hit them through the air, make them start to doubt early, and take an early lead.

The one thing we've all seen through the years with bad Jets teams is we let them hang around, they gain confidence, and then we end up losing. Don't give them that chance. Don't let them gain confidence. Score quick, score early and then try to pound the ball with Ajayi.

We just beat a team with an even more athletic QB. We just got to take an early lead, stop their run, and force Fitz to have to beat you, eventually he will get frustrated, and start forcing passes in Miami defender's hands.

Decker is out for the year.
