so looking back at last years draft, we picked jason allen obviously but looking back at last year and how the players performed that were picked after allen, with the knowledge of how they have performed, who would be your player that we should have taken ?

Jason Allen did about as good as most the secondary guys. Cromartie did an alright job with the Chargers, but he only had one INT and never actually started. So i dont think he was that much better then J. Allen. The guy i wanted was Manny Lawson, and he didn't really accomplish a lot in SF this year either.

The man who i would want is Johnathan Joseph whom the bengals drafted. The kid became a great corner for them this year. However, he was arrested last week for possession of Marijuana, so there you go.

I support Jason allen. Im glad we have him.

Looking back I would have taken Colston in the first round.

Thats exactly why you cant look back, Jason was a good pick at the time and still can/will be a very good player. I hate looking back.

how about Nick Mangold? I think 16 might have been a bit early for him but the right side of our line would be young and nice with...

C-Mangold, RG-Hadnot, RT-Carey....Personally I think that in terms of our future he would have been a better pick especially with this years draft being much more deep as far as DB's are concerned.

i think i was hoping for the kid the steelers took the te miller if that is who i am thinking of and was available when we drafted . Was Miller in last years draft ? it doesnt matter now but this is the year we need to draft a qb , wr , te, and two olinemen or get two olinemen in f/a and draft dt and olb.

i hope we can get the qb Rowe or the qb Drew Tate because its long over due for us to address the qb position.

I think the Dolphins will be happy with the Allen pick in the long run. Would be hard to argue with Marcus McNeil though.

If only we had access to a genie and could make the picks based on hindsight, how about this:

Sign Drew Brees, keep the second round pick.

1. C Nick Mangold
2. OT Marcus McNeil
3. KR Devin Hester
4. DE Mark Anderson
5. K Stephen Gostkowski
7. WR Marques Colston
7. DT Frederic Evans
7. DT Rodrique Wright

Boys, I think I solved all of our problems in one fell swoop. Haha Yeah that was rather pointless, but kind of funny. I somehow still managed to leave us with some linebacker problems. :sidelol:

Miller was in the Draft the year before. Last year the steelers took Santonio Holmes.

Jahri Evans the right guard on the saints did pretty well this year.

Uh let us be realistic and say guys we were actually considering at those picks..

I will admit that I was adamant about Winston Justice who was a backup this year.

Brodie cryole was drafted in the 3rd by KC. there very high on him and he will soon be there starter, i look for a lot of good things from him. i remember watching the draft a just hoping that we got him, only to see him fall past us in the thrid.

In hindsight I would have taken Colston in the 7th, not the 1st lol. Still get the player before the Saints and keep the higher pick for someone else.

Manny Lawson,Can be a olb/de and is very fast.I didnt like the allen pick at 16 ,but he is tall fast, will he be good.I hope and think he will.Manny would fill the lb position.

Crowder/Zack/Lawson....Jt on 3-4

Or Mangold.
