With the talk of LaVar Arrington possibly becoming a target for nick saban and co. if his price tag was too high, another name i ran across at foxsports.com of available free agents was Cato June from Indy. He seemed to play very solid last year for Indy and may come at a cheaper price tag as well. Thoughts??
 
i think he is smaller than what Nicky would want from a OLB
 
restricted free agent. i do not want to see any more draft picks given up.
 
He was tendered at first round compensation. Not worth the 16th pick.
 
didnt know he had a first round compensation attached with him, figured he would be a steal if the offer was right
 
Peter Boulware,Jaime Sharper,Na'il Diggs,the guy from the 49ers Salaam, there are quite a few but damnit we need Lavar:eek:
 
cato junes on the market???? never knew that...he had a great year last year i would think people would be higher on him than lavar
 
I think we may not look anymore in free agency for a LB if Arringtons price doesn't come down. I see saban looking for the next athletic LB in the draft, maybe Manny Lawson or Greenway. Possibly Ryans or Simms if we trade down for more picks.

He's a RFA, meaning that we would have to give the Colts a draft pick for compensation, in this case our first rounder.
 
why dosent anyone talk about chris claiborne i like this guy very talented. and prolly a low price tag is there something wrong with him? i know he was injured for at least 5 games last year. but i think he is recovered and from 2000 to 2003 he had 3 straight 100 tackle seasons. and in 04 he had 80 and than was a little injury prone but still a real good talent! and or sam cowart i dont know these guys price tags just like there talent and are good guys against the run and can taclke.
