He's a huge part of Cincy's offense and it looks like they'll have him back against the Dolphins.

Another piece for Miami's struggling defense to account for.

Maybe better than lots of Giovani Bernard?

That's a glass half full approach, but Bernard is the Dion Lewis type back that seems to give us more problems.

I don't even think it matters. The Dolphins defense flat out can't match up with Cincinnati's skill players. Stopping that offense is gonna happen only if Matt Burke stops being Matt Burke, or if Andy Dalton starts gift-wrapping footballs.

The offense is gonna have to score 24+ points for Miami to have a chance to win the game. Can the Dolphins score 24 points on the road? Gonna have to manufacture points somehow.

To me this game comes down to whether or not Adam Gase can figure out a way to put the Dolphins in position to score points despite the fact that the interior OL is about to get hog-whipped for all 22 minutes the team will have possession on Sunday.

OK. You sold me.

I'm not going to bother to watch the game!

:)

I think Miami has a chance to win. I'm just being realistic. When I saw this game on the schedule, I thought it was one of the more difficult games for this team. Miami built a finesse, soft-ass roster, and the Bengals are a bunch of extremely talented, physical animals. You throw in the fact that Miami took injuries at maybe the worst spots you can take injuries against Cincinnati (CB, interior OL), and THEN you throw in the fact that the Dolphins have kind of stunk on the road under Adam Gase... and yeah, you can feel bad about this game.

But I took notice when Gase cut Jordan Phillips. My armchair psychological analysis here says that Adam Gase is about to make even more changes than that, which will be a good thing for this Dolphins team. It could especially be a good thing for this Dolphins team this week.

We'll see. I think it's either going to be real good or real bad. I don't see any in-between this week.

The Bengals probably will score a lot of points but there should be no, I repeat, no excuse for us not to score points as well. As good and high scoring their offense is as bad their defense is: 23, 23 and the last two games 31 and 36 points.

Well played!

So sad in my mind. I cannot possibly see "real good."

I tend to think/believe we're in for a negative run. Partially historically. Partially realistically.

And mostly psychologically. I say that because the "team" ultimately is a reflection of the HC.

I just don't see us putting the prior embarrassment behind and coming out ANGRY and HOSTILE.

The team is collectively "soft" IMO and that does not play well on the road.

But yo. I hope I'm like 200% wrong!

Just win.

Or at least be competitive for 60 min.

This is another problem but it’s still early in the week so we will see.

If they had eifert they’d have us about 4 different ways.

it's going to be tough but every game is different, defensively the Gals are no brick wall either.

It’s not a good matchup for MIA....at all.

Well, at least Miami doesn't have to worry about an athletic TE anymore.

INB4 Kroft has a career day.

Right know every team on our schedule is looking at us and saying that's a game THEY can win. Yup, this week doesn't get any easier for us but I still gonna watch and see how the team respond to everything that's gone on the last few days.
