The Dolphins announced the signing of seven playerson Friday, six of whom were on their practice squad a season ago.
The six practice-squad players signed were defensive tackle Isaako Aaitui, running back Cameron Marshall, tight end Kyle Miller, tight end/fullback Emmanuel Ogbuehi, wide receiverRyan Spadola and offensive tackle Jason Weaver.
Aaitui, 27, notched three tackles in four games for Miami in 2013.
The club also announced it had signed offensive tackle Michael Ola, who played for the CFL’s Montreal Alouettes in 2013.

I could have sworn that the Dolphins announced these signings like a month ago. Maybe it was just reported and not officially announced. Most of them probably won't make the final roster, but when you can have 90 players on an offseason roster, these are the kind of guys you bring in.

I do think that these signings were made when Ireland was still the GM.

Interesting that The Finsiders reported this over a month ago.

Well....you need bodies to reach roster limits of 90.

Just bringing in bodies is not the answer. That mentality is part of what is wrong under Ireland. We need guys that can improve the skill and talent of this football team. Hopefully Hickey chooses carefully.

Marshall is a big body back. I'd like to see if he can develop on the ps.

Yes, I agree and Omar said Josh Samuda was one of them…lol.

No, but you still bring them in if for no other reason than to provide moving targets for your talent. All teams make these kinds of signings, and I'd bet money that all NFL team boards have their own set of numbnuts that think every player signed is on the verge of breaking out.

this isn't a big deal its just signing the practice squad to the main roster because the roster limitations are gone in the off season. This was done as soon as playoffs started not new just that the dolphins website re-posted it yerterday

If he does it will start next month once players can be signed.
