According to ESPN.com's Bill Williamson, "all indications are that the Seahawks plan on signing" free agent TE Zach Miller during his Monday visit.

Still just 25 years old, Miller fits Seattle's game plan of signing young players with ties to their coaching staff. Seahawks owner Paul Allen has deep pockets, and coach Pete Carroll has shown an impressive ability to recruit over the past two years. The Raiders have a dogfight on their hands for Miller.

another playmaker that we didn't even think to contact!

FML. Maybe we'll go after Boss.

this is one Jeff should have pursued aggressively dammmit instead of spending his time courting washed up fins retreads and linemen

I really liked Pete's first draft, this past one was meh; they are getting the job done in FA over there this season that's for sure.

Good.

Honestly, I'm sick of the chubbys some of y'all have for this guy. People talk about him like he's the next coming of Tony Gonzalez.

Is he good? Sure. But, he's not the end-all, savior of the Dolphins. The guy is an above average TE, and he's talked about on here like he's a god. :bobdole:

The kid hasnt been in the league long at all and has produced on a crappy Raider offense, whos to say he cant become a recieving TE of Tony Gonzalez caliber on a good/great offense? He bascially fit what our passing game so sorely lacks. ( Other then a QB, haha )

The point is he is BETTER than what we currently have on the roster...it's unthinkable that we didn't even contact the guy. As a GM you should always be upgrading at a position if you have the opportunity.

A pass catching TE to go with the newly acquired pass catching RB...could have been good options for Henne...

I want you guys to back these statements up and show me where they did not contact him.

You make it seem like the Dolphins have unlimited resources and are the only team in the league. They can't possibly pick up every FA that would fill a need on the team.
