What should we look forward to seeing from him in the next couple of years? Is he a Travis Minor or is going to be a sleeper? Alot of good runningbacks have been picked up in the 3rd round, Curtis Martin and Frank Gore come to mind. Thoughts?

I'm hoping he can catch the ball like Reggie Bush does and run like him too in the open field. I see him in a role kind of like that. I want him and Ronnie both to be real serious threats catching the ball when they're out there.

I want them to drive D-coordinators nuts with all the different things they can do. I want Ronnie to work hard on his halfback passes too. I would love Ronnie or Lorenzo to be able to surprise the hell out of defenses this year throwing the ball. LaDainian Tomlinson throws a few every year. That running back from Arkansas who will probably win the Heisman and be drafted top 5, Darren McFadden, is plenty dangerous throwing the ball. He freaks out the D coordinators every time he touches that ball. That's how I want our opponents to feel about Ronnie and Lorenzo this year. :chuckle:

Did you check out the video link i posted? Booker has moves for days. I think he catches the ball alot like Brian Westbrook does for Philly and is similar in height and weight. The only difference i see between them is Booker runs a little higher than Westbrook does.

excellent pick by the Dolphins; I see him taking 1/3 of the snaps from Brown . . .

i expect lorenzo to be very much similar to leon washington on the jets, he is always comparing himself to leon and their explosiveness adds a change of pace to the offense. last year watching leon on the jets i noticed that we were def lacking that x-factor type of player who can just stretch the field and make deffenders miss him left and right. i think with lorenzo now we have a player who can come in and relieve ronnie of the load but still come in and keep a strong impact on the backfield

lets not forget cobbs and chatman and mauia and the other fb if used all of them we should be even better. and for those who say we dont need all these guys , bull crap , all it would take is one game and we could be down to 1 rb on the entire roster due to suspensions , injuries and whatnot. coach jones siad yesterday that carying two te's and 4 rbs is the way to go and i agree with him on that.

He is a very good back and a perfect complement to Brown.

I'm hopeful that he will add a burst to the offense. Really, I've thought a lot of our recent RB's were underutilized and it was the combination of the offensive coordinator, QB, and OL that really has hurt our running productivity lately.
