He seems to be ahead of Donald Lee that's for sure.
 
Not at FB, but he can take Donald Lee's spot at backup TE/H-Back if you ask me.

He looked GOOD. I looked at him and was like, damn who the heck is that. Looked like Obafemi Ayanbadejo, cuz he had some shake to him, but he was big and looked good releasing down the field. Wonder if he can block...
 
#2 TE. I don't care what string defense he was going against. He's already 10x better than Lee.
 
I think Lee played pritty good outthere if you ask me ;)
 
Definitely, Lee doesn't look any better since last year and Diamond looked GREAT. Cut Lee, let Diamond play 2nd string.
 
This guy or Alex Holems should definatly be backing up Randy. Donald Lee did the same thing as usual. Drop an easy catch, fumble away a ball, come up short of a first down (we got a generous spot), then go and make two nice catches back to back. Lee is just about done, I am never one to jump the gun on young players because often they dont get enough time to develop but this guy has had all the time he needs.

Really got me pumped! Look forward to more Diamond in preseason see where it goes! That was a great move for the 1st down in the second qtr.
 
Lee just does not have it up stares IMO. Physically he has the tools
 
Diamond looked awesome, we need to make room on the roster for this guy if he can keep this up throughout preseason.
