you know, i know that we were the sexy pick for the super bowl, but i never really bought it. i know i know, i'm not going to sit here and say i am a prophet or anything, but the losing this year doesnt seem to sting as bad because i feel that we have a bright future beyond this season. i think this will be a good learning experience for Saban, that sometimes he needs to be more aggressive in FA, and that sometimes he needs to be more aggressive with a challenge flag. plus, it cant hurt to bring in another top draft choice. i hope that we rattle off a ten game win streak and take the playoffs by storm, but i honestly think thats something for next year.

hopefully ricky will get his **** together and comeback next year, even though i really cant stand him right now, he is a big part of the team

He'll be back, but missing Ricky Williams isn't the problem.

I don't see next year as being especially bright with the way this season has gone. I pray we can get it going the second half of this season and get Daunte to old form. As for Ricky Williams, I don't see him playing again in a Dolphin uniform. Ronnie is our guy and I will be supportive of him until his legs fall off.

My hopes for this year is to see Daunte and Chris get into a nice rythym, see the offensive line gel, see the youngins on D get some playing time, and see Ronnie become the star he is. We need Daunte back to start preparing for next year. Get him out there and work all of his rust off and let us know if he is really our QB of the future.

I don't think Ricky is the answer anymore, but we could have used him instead of Sammie yesterday!

Are you Saban's kid that hes always talking about? He's learning this year? Really? What happened to last year. If hes going to learn for next year from this year like he learned this year from last year, I don't think that's something that any of us want to be around. The guy stinks. He sucks. Sorry if you are related to him (not too sorry, Nick Saban stole millions from Huizenga).

As for "bringing in another top draft choice"...yes, I can't wait to see who next years version of Jason Allen is. I am on pins and needles.

Said it a million times, this team is still 2 to 3 years away from being a serious contender for a SB ring. Saban is rebuilding this team....just going to take a while.

Our defense needs to be rebuilt along with our o-line. We also need another big-time playmaker at Wide Receiver and a better playmaker at Tight End. McMichael is an underachiever who runs as slow as hell!!!!

Thats the spirit. Put the hopes of a franchise on a 30 yr old RB who is manic-depressed and is prone to use substances banned from the NFL. That is exactly what we need to do.

Or, of course, we could go another route. Getting rid of all these yahoos like Ricky--Chambers, McMichael, Zach Thomas, Sammy Morris, Booker, and the rest of the Super Suckers and bring in young talent to change the culture of this team.

Yeah, you're probably right. Lets keep these guys and let Saban "coach" them. That'll get us there.

I hope (and pray) that DC doesn't see the field again this year (or ever, but thats another debate).

Nothing good has come from DC and nothing good will come of it. He is what he is. Washed up, old, tired, and crippled. I'm sure hes a good guy, but that shouldn't influence our decision to get a competent QB.

With Saban doing the construction, the rebuilding is going to take a LONG WHILE. Like maybe,,,,,never!
