A key factor in Boldin’s future could be the status of all the other Cardinals with contract issues — an impressive group that includes QB Kurt Warner, “franchise” ILB Karlos Dansby, SS Adrian Wilson, DE-DT Darnell Dockett and DE Antonio Smith. Interestingly, all these players except Warner are represented by agent Drew Rosenhaus, who has been known to rock the NFL landscape more than a little

thats a lot of good players they have hitting the market. anyone know what their cap sapce is like? Warner woudl be a must resign most likely. Wilson, Smith, dockett and dansby are all serious gamers and part of the team along with the RFA Watson.

I can see 3 players alone miami can consider, Dansby, Dockett, and Watson. BP wont stop adding D linemena nd LB and i expect holliday to get cut anyways he has a 5.9 cap number next year and only 3.5 sacks and 2 sacks in 2 yrs.

Man, having either Wilson, Dockett, or Dansby would be insane. Its amazing to think of how many insanely talented people are on that team now

i've read $40 mil in space for 09. expect most those guys to resign. especially coming off a superbowl appearance ownership must open the wallet.

btw BERRY is a FA as well. wow the whole D just like the ravens are FA loll

Adrian Wilson would defiantly be amazing to have

Best move we could make this offseason. Dockett doesn't really fit our defense and he would be a waste as a 3-4 end. He is also too small to be an NT. Dansby would be nice, but we got Wake for a reason.

dansby would play inside here

We have an advantage this year over our last two years. When we signed Porter I assume we were in the market for other players. Kris Dielman being the main one I seem to remember, also, Adalius Thomas, Kelly Washington and Donte Stallworth a lot of people were talking up and we all know where they went. FAs would have been heading into the unknown that year with the Phins. Last year, we lost Calvin Pace to the Jests, Alan Faneca would've filled a need too. I heard some Flozell Adams whispers before Jake started to emerge as legitimate number one option. No league-wide reputable players were goign to join us last year, in my opinion.

This year, we're AFC East Champs. We're legitimate contenders. FAs can come here for a shot at winning a title. Success breads success. We can compete for the big names and with a solid draft and free agency, we can compete for a conference and World title.

I'm excited.

the Wake signing has nothing to do with Dansby, two different positions.... if we re-signed Crowder that would say we aren't going Dansby or Bart Scott

why not? i dont think ayodele is a long term answer

Ya he could play inside. He needs a little more bulk but he definitely would be a good fit there. I like Bart Scott better though since he already knows the position.
