We have a aggressive and talented defense and well thats lovie's speciality is fixing and making defense superior he might actually make the players grow instead of regressing.

we could even hire chud as a OC if we hire lovie as hc or even nor turner which is probably out of cleveland as well.

just my 2 cents

I would take him in a heartbeat

Tampa 2 defense is what Lovie runs...not the personnel we have. Plus his offenses in Chicago were bad, especially when he hired Mike Martz.

No. Quit with the retreads! Lovie failed. Screw him. Get some new blood. The NFL is stagnating because of the constant in-breading mentality it has now. I can hear the ****ing fiddles playing...

Some people have said Lovie smith so Lets look at Lovie Smith
He has been a head coach for the last 9 years
His teams have gone to the playoffs 3 times (this is not successfull and we would be calling for his head after 3 years of not going to the playoffs)
Those 3 playoff appearences were because they won the division (no wild card)
His teams have won 3 playoff games (no superbowl win)
His total record is 81-63 56%

Lovie smith hasnt proven ANYTHING in 9 years...pass

Do u think if we keep Philbin but ditch out coordinators lovie would accept a dc role and chud as oc would be one hell of a staff given we also replace turner. Draft oline, lb to replace wheeler and a dt to replace either Starks or solia. That would be a nice progression I think

My roommate in college was a diehard Bears fan, so I watched most every Bears game during the Lovie years. One word, YUCK. I can tell you their fan base was more disgusted and frustrated with him than we are with Philbin...lots of bad playcalling, weird decision making, poor clock management, etc. I think a lot of their success on D was a result of personnel, not coaching.

His only good quality is that the players always seemed to like him from a personality standpoint.

I like Smith a lot, but look for him to end up in Tampa.

quit dreamin' all o' ya... Ross ain't firing anybody. he's gonna shove this same plate of sh#t in front of every Dolfans face and make us eat it... like it or not. and stop believing he cares. he don't. he's rich, and doesn't have to. the toy belongs to him.

Isn't Lovie Tampa bound?

Thank you.A true statement.

Lovie Smith can do nothing for our offense that can barely score when the season is on the line. NO!
