Since this switch, Ronnie has rushed for 343 yards over 3 games.

He can go to the right where nearly 700 lbs of RG/RT will at least keep some linemen stationary, or to the right where our LT could be jogging out in front of him.

I love the fact that a little better line play means Ronnie is nowhere near being a bust.

You'll notice, though, that an enormous amount of his positive yardage was to the right.

Shelton seems to be playing pretty well over there, but we still need an upgrade over McIntosh. His failure to take Brown out of the play caused Harrington's first interception, which was costly.

:yeahthat:

We sure need to adress the line with our picks. I agree, It's nice to see Shelton bounce back.

all of you guys make good points...also big up to Hadnot for picking Tillman off of that pile when they were mauling Booker...if there is such a thing as a good penalty that was it....

I think we'll find a way to keep Shelton at RG, he's a dominant player there

Here's to hoping the team can get up to 4 wins and still be in around that 5-6 slot. Let Joe Thomas slide a little and that could fill that problem right there. Although I could see the Cardinals taking him so here's hoping for a little Cardinals winning streak ;p

Great to see McIntosh leading Ronnie out on the left. Our O-linemen haven't done that in forever. He was benched and then came back and is making the most of his opportunity to play. Good for him.

And yeah, phillyphinphan, it's part of being an offensive lineman that anyone who beats up on your smaller guys has to pay for it.

the thing that made me the happiest was the holes Ronnie had, nor was it the protection Joey had. It was that the offensive line had no false starts and no holding penalties.

shelton at rg is a keeper. I dont know if we're overpaying for him there but he's played well

It is very nice to see that Shelton just may pan out at RG. Bennie Anderson was a very dumb pick up and now I think we just need to fix the left side of the line. No more James and McIntosh and we should be fine. Hadnot, Shelton and Carey isn't a bad combo from center to right.

RG has been a position of concern all season, Shelton looks to be a beast; Jeno James evidently was playing on a hurt ankle after Week 1 (he was better after the bye?); McIntosh will do for now at LT.

Giving Houck two weeks to solidify this lineup could end up being the key change this season, giving us some hope down the line.

Great to see the OL finally show up today, maybe we have a couple keepers, particularly Shelton at RG. McIntosh is playing much better at LT but we still need a big LT guy in the draft IMO.

Its an awful expensive RG...although the results are there.

Can't we ask him to restructure? Seems like he cares about the team considering he did make the move to RG.

I just wish it hadn't taken so long to figure out the right OL.
