I'm assuming Quinn doesn't fall to the #9 pick so this is how I would pick for each round.

1 Levi Brown T Penn State 6-5, 323;
Huge LT who is a monster run blocker and is also very good in pass protection. Will anchor the left side for a decade.

2a Brandon Meriweather S Miami 5-10, 195;
Quick, instinctive player who has excellent coverage and tackling skills

2b Jason Hill WR Washington State 6-0,204;
Fast deep threat with good hands. Can catch in up the middle of the field in traffic and will go after the ball

3 Kevin Kolb QB Houston 6-3,230;
Strong arm, accurate, leader, makes quick decisions

4 Scott Chandler TE Iowa 6-7, 270;
Big size TE who gets open and has nice hands

6a Dustin Fry C Clemson 6-2, 314;
Good size mauler type explosive but needs work on his technique in pass protection.

6b Traded to KC for Trent Green

7a Uche Nwaneri OG Perdue 6-3, 325;
Has the size and aggressiveness Houck likes. Needs a lot of improvement in technique

7b Jacob Ford OLB Central Arkansas 6-3, 249
Natural pass rusher with a high motor and nice quickness. Played DE in college but can move to OLB in a 3-4 defence.

7c Ramonce Taylor RB Texas 5-11,195;
Quick back who finds holes easily, can be used on special teams but has major character issues

As good as all the other ones I've seen. We have too many holes not to do well in who they draft with that first pick as long as it is one of the "top 10's" that everybody is talking about.

Not bad at all. The only problem is that you didn't pick up a DE, but Antwan Applewhite or another FA might fill in as a backup just fine. Also, I would take Troy Smith over Kolb.

good job.. Much better than most I have seen .

Ludacris does mock drafts? Thought he was all about music...

I love this mock and if it happened I would be ecstatic. That said, I think our team needs a QB so bad that I would be surprised if we wait until the 3rd to get one. I think if we get Kolb we play it safe and use that second 2nd rounder on him. If we decide to play a game of chicken and can get him in the 3rd than Mueller needs to be sainted.

Pretty good mock overall. Although I'm not sold on Jason Hill as a "burner". I know that he ran one of the fastest 40 times at the combine, but his whole career at Wazu he was labeled as more of a possession receiver who didn't stretch the field too much. Chandler, Fry and Taylor would be nice pickups if we could get them at those picks.

I thought the same too when I saw some of Jason Hill but I made an assessment that the Washington State QB (Brink) has a weak arm who floats the ball up there. I concluded that Hill had to always adjust and come back for the ball or slow down on his deep routes. With a Pro QB who has a strong arm I think Hill can out run and catch in stride. But that's just my amateur-ish observation. I could be wrong and he could just be a fast 40 guy who is only a possession receiver.
