NFL.com's Albert Breer reported Wednesday
that Texas A&M's Luke Joeckel and Central Michigan's Eric Fisher both are not slated to visit. The Chiefs
also spent considerable timing kicking the tires on Oregon's Dion Jordan and Florida's Sharrif Floyd
after the NFL Scouting Combine. Those two aren't scheduled to meet with the Kansas City brass, either.

This may not mean anything, but is it common for a team with the #1 pick?

i wouldn't read anything into it...the scouts have done all the homework...if they are comfortable with the individual and they like the football player i don't see the need...plus they probably interviewed them at the combine etc

doesn't mean they are a lock to go ot though either...been saying for a while it may not go that route...especially if they don't trade albert

Cool...

makes me think albert going nowhere and they may look to another position

All the better for us. Also, we really need Geno and Barkley to go in the top 10 if possible...

not that that's what will happen. just what it makes me think. albert said he wanted to be traded cus of drafting LT.

yeah, KC kinda shot themselves in the foot when they tagged Albert in terms of selecting a LT... not saying they won't take a LT but why pay the franchise tag price and select another player #1 at the same position.

I have a hard time remembering if we brought Jake Long in for a visit when we selected him 1st overall.

I don't think it means much to be honest. They start the process of player review way before we, as fans, even begin thinking about it.

Jake Long's contact was done by the time we drafted him..

just some food for thought here; lane Johnson was in philly today working out for them and they said he fits more to what they will be doing on offense.

maybe we end up moving up for A&M boy
