What did everyone think of the Madison interview at the end of the 3rd quarter? He seemed to indicate that we havn't even seen the Saban defense yet. That what they are practicing won't be unveiled till the regular season opener.

i can see that.. i was there and the D looked good the steelers O only scored 1 td.

I think so, and not just the D but im guessing the O also, I think Nick has got something big in store for his first season.

I felt confident when I saw the interview, he's supposed to be our anchor in the secondary but hasn't been playing that way. When I saw it, I felt a little more confident about our team.

yeah seemed like he had a little smerk on his face like he definately knows something we dont

Lets hope your right I certainly hope so.

The Dolphins are playing possum in the pre-season. Saban the psycologist wants all the teams to underestimate us then we'll come on like gangbusters during the season.

He flat out said he can't tell us what the defense is going to look like in the regular season, and he definetly had a smirk on his face when he was asked by Bo! He knows something alright!

maybe to some degree.

That wouldnt explain dropped passes and missed blocks though. The players simply aren't executing. We will probably be better in the Reg season than what we see right now, but we still will have a long ways to go.

I agree, I haven't heard any forthcoming major changes on offense. There may or may not be. I think they just need to develop some consistency and that starts up front. But the defense I think is clearly being hidden.

I agree also that we haven't seen the whole pkg. Yet I also read into saban's tough talk on execution, and mental errors killing us, and think it goes hand in hand! We may have a great plan coming into the season but if we can't execute we are in trouble ( still feel 8-8 is possible ) with a hope for 9-7.

That Miami is holding back its defensive game plan MUST be the reason I continue to see Madison miss tackles its 2 in 3 weeks where a RB simply runs bye him no juke .. no stiff arm .. nothing just simply run bye #29.

God thats disgusting to see a player of his reputation play with such little hart.

I didn't like how Sam was giving a good interivew, then the network decided to make Bokamper cut him off so they could take a commercial break.
