He is by far my favorite player on this team. He has the heart of a lion and an attitude of a beast. Why not play the 2017 season all out? His presence alone brings a certain energy to the locker room that is addictive to the players. He makes our players better. Let him earn his contract. He's our ride or die player. Let him be the King of South Beach.

I think our coach and new regime proved today that if you bleed for this team, you'll reap the benefits.

Cam. Reshad. Kenny. Andre.

Jarvis is next.

Now that you've established with Jones that you're will to give a new deal before a player hits restricted free agent status you have to attempt the same with Landry. Of course it comes down to does the player and his agent sign off on the deal or seek more money.

He would be cheaper now (a little) than this time next year.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he has done just what you have asked

Depends on the price, but I'll tell you this... If Parker breaks out this season, you can say goodbye to Landry...

If he gets hurt and Caroo comes in lives up to his lofty draft price tag then Landry becomes expendable as Landry and Caroo are both possession receivers. But it will be hard to replace Landry's intangibles, such as his heart and never quit attitude

What kind of a signal does that send to Landry if you extend Jones but not him? Pisses him off and then he bolts out of here ASAP next year. Lock him up.

No, I would be mad that we let our top offensive weapon (and I am including Ajayi and Tanny) go to another team. I hope we get a deal done with Landry this year. He has unique heart, plays bigger than he is, and NEVER gives up on a play. He is the Zach Thomas of our offense and you dont let a player like that go away. It is as simple as that !

I disagree, he is a proven commodity at WR and will only be more expensive if he is allowed to hit the open market. Look at the deals lesser receivers like Britt got, imagine what Landry will get in an open bidding environment when bad teams have 60 million+ in cap space.

Do many on this site are losing food from their tables when the Dolphins pay someone. Landry has nothing to prove, he plays as hard as he's gonna play. Just lock him up.

So much changes from year to year. The cap increases and older players with inflated salaries get cut which frees up space. There's no need to be sooooo worried about the cap. Weren't we supposed to be able to do nothing when we signed Suh?

Do we know what we have in Carroo yet? If he's in fact starting material, who's the odd man out?
