So lets say a higher power comes down from the heavens and says that he will guarantee you EITHER a Dolphins victory or a Ravens loss and that you can only choose one. Would you take a week 14 certain Dolphins victory over the Patriots or a certain Ravens loss to the Lions?
 
I'll take the win....always the win....
 
I would ALWAYS take a win against the Pats,even if it cost me my soul.
 
You take the win, Patriots play extremely well coming off a loss. It would essentially be a 2 game swing for us over the ravens.
 
I'm torn. I think we can beat the Patriots on our own, and then with a guaranteed loss for the Ravens we would be in the 6th seed spot with two weeks to go. They would have two tough games and we would have two easier games and thus we would have a much better chance of making the playoffs than them. Plus we can not make the playoffs if the Ravens don't lose a game. ( ruling out a miracle anyways )
 
I take the win because the Ravens still have to win some tough games. It we beat the Pats, we should win out. It Pitt beats Cincy, then the final week of the season could eliminate either Cincy or Balt.

This is not true. I think we may get in if Miami, Balt, & Cincy all finish 10-6. That happens if Cincy loses to Pitt on Sunday and we win out and Balt beats Cincy in week 17. If Cincy beats Balt, we get in any way. I believe winning out gives use the best chance.

Yeah I said it was possible on one of the other posts but it is very unlikely for all of those games to play out like that. If we don't finish with a better record than the Ravens we will most likely not get in.
