We didn't have to shred Clarett's knee ligaments though. OSU should be the last team in the country to say that other teams don't play by the rules.

And there's no doctored image that can prove to me that there was PI on that play. I've seen it on TV numerous times at numerous angles, so don't bother throwing up some whacked out image of that play.

They win the game and they still complain about the officiating over 3 years later, despite the widespread criticism of the officiating being in their favor. What a joke of a university.

 amazing. mcgahee was useless in that game anyway. another case of larry coker being unprepared for a lesser opponent.

What would an OSU fan know about rules????

I don't know. I know most people hate that call. I think it was questionable to call it in THAT situation. I'd much rather let the teams play at that point of the game. However, I do think it WAS a penalty. Just a shame to have such a good game decided by a call by the refs.

A guy with the name DBOSTON80 as his username and an OSU fan is talking about playing by the rules? Give me a break.

Thats like Ricky Williams calling a teammate out for failing a drug test.

Laugh away in your ignorance. Only a foolish "fan" wouldn't think that the best running back in college football couldn't have gotten into the endzone on 1st and 2, 2nd and 1, 3rd and 1, and 4th and 1. That was the game buddy. Well actually the PI call was, but this was too. He was averaging over 5 yards a carry in the 2nd half. Very useless, I agree.

That's not even the play in question Einstein. You must not have watched it very good. Note: they are on about the 40 yard line. The PI was in the endzone!

PS: Hit on Willis was perfectly clean! Nothing dirty about it so don't even go there!

And a note to all those fans of Thug U....errr....Miami: GET OVER IT! YOU LOST!

injuries are a part of it. he was shutdown before that, and he got hurt. simple. and if you don't like the pass interference call, tell glenn sharpe not to drape the receiver on a fade ball in the end zone.

Get over it?? Who should you be telling that to? Look at who started this thread.

I know that isn't the same play "Einstein". I know exactly what the PI play was. I was just anticipating this guy putting up that picture that's circulating around that "proves" the PI. Tell me why the official waves his arms incomplete and then throws his flag. Please tell me why an official would do that. Kinda similar to running along side the goalline with your arm in the air signaling a dead ball and then deciding to call a TD because he crossed before he went down (super bowl play w/ Roethlisberger).

And yeah I see guys throw their entire bodies right at guys knees all the time. OSU is should be ashamed that they had to do all that and get the help from officials to win the national championship. Can't wait til 2010...yes sir...can't wait.

Well if you think 5 yards a carry against one of the nations top defenses, then I guess you don't know anything.

And obviously the only thing you know of that PI call is the image, because anybody that watched that play live, knows there wasn't any PI...even the official that called it.

This was the "catch" that OSU beat PSU with in 2003.

So its not like OSU doesn't get any game changing calls in their favor.
