If anyone just hears his interview on Sirius Blitz. How could you want this guy with anything higher than a 3rd or 4th

He came off as a jerk. Listening to his interview I wonder how he ever made it at a school like Michigan.

Tried to play himself as a victim and avoided all questions about the Drugs and Drops.

One answer stands out to me.

Adam Shine " Mario the scouts like you but they do have one question about the drops in big games at bigh spots."

Mario " What about the ones I caught."

There is no doubt that his value is in free fall. No doubt.

I heard it and there is no doubt MM could have handeled the questions better, but they were dogging on him. They made it out to be more than it was. Adam and the Blitz crew should get the responses, give their opionion but leave it at that and believe that their listeners can make their own opinions on the player and the interview. They were making it to be absolutley certain MM is a bad guy. I really was turned off by the post interview of those two guys. They want to talk about being professional, they should look into journalistic integrity. They behaved like kids post interview.

They kept on and on about his answers and how no one should think he will be anygood in the NFL. They were really trying to use their expert influence to convince listeners, instead of presenting what happened and letting the listeners decide on their own what to think of MM.

* To that note they are usually pretty good on the blitz and they did seem out of their element, but in my opinion they could have dropped it instead of going on and on about it.

He's just simply not that good and his stock is dropping back to where it should have been to begin with IMO.

Exactly. Much of his drop can be attributed to some of the things scouts see on tape. That said, lying at the combine is a big no-no.

I agree they did go on to long with it. I am not sure if it just confused them or not, because listening to the other Prospects that come out on Sirius they have very good interviews.

I think they just did not know how to handle an interview that they got.

Yeah I was at lunch listening in the car and Holy Crap. I was very uncomfortable listening to him be defensive about dropping balls and his drug test. He came off like an ***hole! I was someone who wanted him...not anymore he is a turd

Would have no problem taking him in the 4th. :)

I do. Seriously.

We cannot afford investing in a WR who drops the ball in big spots. Plus the guy is a jerk. I don't care if he was caught smoking dope. We got Hagan in the 3rd round and he's got hands of stone too!

Looks like the Dolphins brought him in for a visit..

Dolphins | Manningham works out for team
Mon, 14 Apr 2008 09:20:38 -0700
In an interview on SIRIUS NFL Radio The SIRIUS Blitz, University of Michigan WR Mario Manningham said he worked out with the Miami Dolphins.

Manningham needs a serious attitude adjustment. This dude is drastically reducing his paycheck. Wake up, Mario! This is an opportunity of a lifetime, don't be an idiot and piss it all away.

Manningham is a good receiver, he's better than what the fins have on their roster.
