NFL Network's Michelle Beisner, Lindsay Jones of the Denver Post, and Andrew Mason of MaxDenver.com all dispute a report that free agent Peyton Manning reached out to the Broncos on Sunday.
CBS 4 Denver's Vic Lombardi reported earlier Sunday night that the Broncos were "95 percent sure" they'd sign Manning based on the fact that he reached out to them on Sunday. Lombardi's report was debunked, both by NFL Net and the Post. Per Beisner, the Broncos had no talks with Manning on Sunday and are being "respectful of his wishes and this process." Since Manning is now considered "highly unlikely" to sign by Tuesday's opening of the free agency period, we wouldn't be surprised if he took one more visit before picking a team. We would expect a decision by Wednesday.

Broncos official wants it known: Manning didn't call team today or tonight & inform they're 95% fave. Manning source already refuted to me
