Manning has informed the Redskins he is not interested

"the whole situation down in Miami"

I need more! lol

I would guess that it has to do with his home in S Fla, how his wife loves the area (happy wife, happy life) and the fact he has toddler twin girls that he'd be able to see every day.

if true, not the least surprised. why would he have ever wanted to go to the washington redskins?

forget the eli factor even, the redskins are a complete mess, they dont have much talent on offense to work with, dan snyder is a horrible owner ( yes for those who dont like ross, ross is a great owner compared to snyder as are most), it just never seemed like a fit.

snyder can offer him lots of money, but with all the money mannings made already, plus the money he will make in his post nfl career, i think the potential of winning is most important to him, not the money at this stage.

come on man, what type of manning fan are you, get your facts straight, its a boy and a girl, not twin girls:):)

It'd be hard to believe he'd go to a cold weather team.....it is us or the cards....he has his own place here already and he wants to go to work already......makes the most sense for him to pick us so ..............how many times sense hasn't matter when it comes to our team?....lol

Ozzy rules!!

In the article, it stated his camp has said "because of the situation in Miami". We need to beat out Arizona and that's it

The only real team that concerns me is the Cardinals. I think Miami offers him a whole lot more than Phoenix does though, so who knows.

I wouldn't worry too much, they are a NFC team. I believe Marshall Faulk when he says he doesn't want to play for a NFC team. The only team I see us competing with is Houston. However, I don't think Manning would go there. He would basically have to boot out an established QB, Schaub . I'm not sure that would go over too well within the QB fraternity, and it doesn't seem to be his style.

I think he has his ppl pulling the media's strings in the hopes to drive his price up. Really, it's not him, it's his agent. After all that's his job, to make as much money for his client as possible.

No surprise. I still think it comes down to Miami and Houston if they get on board.

I kind of figured that. I'm more worried about Arizona.
