Manning/Hasselback is Favre/Pennington all over again

So we will go 11-5 or 10-6, and then miss out on a top tier QB in the draft next year b/c we didn't suck enough in 2012.

Am I the only one thrilled with going 11-5? Surely I can't be alone in that regard. Who gives a crap about drafting a QB next year, if we have one here that makes us a contender.

However, Hasselback < Pennington . We're not a playoff team with him.

Hasslebeck can still play, the problem is the division is much tougher(assuming Brady doesn't get hurt) than 2008. If Miami got Matt hasslebeck(and drafted a young QB to groom) I'd be much more worried about them.
