Ok, if the Colts do the the 1st pick, do they go and trade out of that spot and get MULTIPLE picks for LUCK?

Cause I cant see Luck sitting for 2-3 Years behind Manning. A QB like that needs to start from Day 1.

Plus Manning rather want to reload the troops and add some players to make the last 2-3 years for a run at SB's.

I think the Colts will trade this pick and get a S!#$ load of picks for the future.

I do see Colts or the Chiefs getting the first pick. I see us around 3-5. Hope we get just 1 win (aganist the JETS) and lose out.

Now, If they draft Luck, do you think they will let Manning go? (Save money from that contract, and retire soon)

If Manning is released I would love to have him here for 2-3 and maybe 4 years!
 
If I'm the Colts and I'm sitting at the number one pick, I see what I could get for either Manning or the first pick and base my decision on that coupled with Manning's age compared to Luck's potential. Also, if it's someone like the Chiefs or Miami that would mean I wouldn't move down much and could take a potential replacement for Manning; I'd consider that.
 
Manning is 35, with a questionable future with his injury. Why can't Luck sit for a couple years? It didn't hurt Rodgers or Rivers. I think the Colts would take Luck.
 
Everyone forgets Manning will be back this year. He will lead the colts to a few wins.

So many things can happen before we can even consider talking about Luck.
 
I don't think the Colts will be bad enough to get Luck. They are 0-4 but had chances to win 3 of those games, there is too much talent there.

They also play JAX and TEN twice along with KC. They have to get at least two wins from those games.
 
Bill Polian is a brilliant GM. He's very astute as I heard him speak many times to know his views on team building and his philosophies.

He built those Buffalo teams that destroyed Marino's quest for a super bowl year-in and year-out.

There is a ZERO percent chance that Bill Polian passes over Luck. He will draft him, Polian is too smart and will not let a generational talent at the most important position in football go through his fingers. He will absolutely draft Luck if he has the first overall pick in his hip pocket.

I highly doubt Manning plays this year. Even if he is healthy by week 14 why on earth would the Colts play him for a few meaningless games and risk him injuring himself further. Not gonna happen
 
if they had the 1st and passed on luck they will be like us for a 10+ after manning. huge mistake
