Manning out ...next Brady

what happened to your D around midseason? your D was really good last year and started out really good this year then just faded and faded.

Delmas got hurt. Finnegan was out. Jamar Taylor was ****ty. Jimmy Wilson stinks. Couldn't stop the run. Allowed points at the absolute worst times.

You are absolutely out of your mind! Tannehill had a better yer than Luck other than team success. Indy was built to be successful, Miami is not. I mean coaching players and of course a terrible division.

are you saying Ryan was better than Luck this year?

The funny this about aging is that how it sneaks up on you. Brady might feel find now, but after an entire off season, the body changes. Then all of of sudden, you don't have that spring in your legs, feeling your age. It a matter of when and not if. Sooner rather than later.

Well Tannehill and what he can do the playoffs is still to be seen, that time will come. On the other hand, we already know Melty is useless in the playoffs, and the Butt specialist needs defense to play well, as well as a running game to help him out, to have any kind of success.

Simply put Tannehill might be good in the playoffs, he might not, but as far as Matt and Mark, we already know, it's never going to happen for them.

so when Ryan had a D last year why didn't it work out? this year he had a run game why didn't it work out?

Mark was outstanding in the playoffs.

Sanchez needed a 15.5 PPG defense and 2700 rushing yards in 2009. Tannehill has never had close to that.

In fact, that they only finished with a 9-7 record with that type of defense is pretty much proof that Sanchez sucks ass.

#s can be deceiving and the pass O led the offense in 2010 when AGAIN he helped them reach a title game w/ a worse D and worse rush O. Sanchez has never led an offense to less than 17 pts in a playoff games. Ryan has never led an O to more than 13 pts in the 4 biggest reg season games of his career.

I know it's the OL's fault, Mark did it w/ WAYNE HUNTER as his RT in 2010.

15.5 PPG. A defense better than this years Seattle Seahawks. 9-7. Let that sink in a bit.

2010 - Jets defense allowed 19.2 PPG and had 2400 yards rushing. Both still better than Tannehill has ever had. You say Tannehill had a great defense last year, and great running game this year. Sanchez had BOTH in both his playoff years.

if you think the 2009 Jets were better than Seattle this year I can't help you. #s and rankings show us a little, our run game was really good the first month of 2010 and mediocre the rest of the year.

Ryan has had enough talent around him to make and win in postseason, he doesn't show up in big games.

Miller averaged of 5 YPC, our top 2 backs barely over 4.

2010 NYJ allowed 19 PPG, 2013 Miami allowed 20.9. very similar
2010 NYJ top 2 RBs averaged 4.1 YPC, Miami's 3.9. very similar

Jets were minutes from SB
dolphins scored 7 pts total in last 2 games against non playoff bound teams needing one win to get to playoffs.

Except the part you keep ignoring in that the Dolphins coaching staff never ran the ball so they never had close to 2400 yards. I'm sure you'll find a way to blame this on Tannehill though.

And you also keep bringing up how Tannehill lost against "non playoff bound teams". He didn't get the luxury of playing teams not even in the same division and thus they didn't give a **** whether or not they lost a meaningless game against the Jets. Say what you want, but the Bills & Jets come to play every time they stop on the field vs the Dolphins. That's a huge difference.

The CS trusted Ryan and they shouldn't have. is that Ryan's fault? maybe not but they thought he could handle it and were wrong.

The Jets didn't come to play against Miami at home in 2012 or 2013. we played Buf to end 2010 and they didn't come to play getting thrashed 38-7. That's just not an excuse. if you went down swinging maybe but 7 pts total? I don't care if you are playing the '85 Bears and '00 Ravens back to back, got to score more than 7 pts total.

You're right, the offense has to score more than 7 points total.
