he crosses the goal line. Is that a TD or not? Picture in Miami Herold article about Saban and his plans.:dolphins:

I'm surprised nobody mentioned that Peyton never had beaten us at home before today... Did anyone notice Mare showed up today????

What does it matter they would have scored anyways Miami couldn't stop them all day.

Okay, we lose by one because they would have kicked a FG. So what.

I believe if it's like a knee and an elbow then it shouldn't have been a td.

Unlike some people, I understand the point of this thread. When you can force a team to snap the ball you have a chance for a fumble/interception. Such as what DID happen when they were in the redzone. If i'm wrong about them being in the redzone then i'm sure there have been fumbles on the goaline.

And to say that we would have lost by one then, isn't true. Because if we force them the kick a fg on the goaline, i'd say that's a win for the defense. A little momentum swing, a fg is a lot less damaging then a TD.

But it brings up the same situation that happened early in the season. The player was out at the one but they called it a TD. Saban chose not to challenge because he said it would have drained clock time and also, they probably get in anyway. I thought that was a bad decision and he showed that he didn't have faith in his defense. Or maybe he's just a realist... I dunno.
