Just wondering if anyone has heard anything on Rodrique, Manny or Vickerson? I know its still early to be deciding whether they will pan out or not but just would like to know how there comin along
 
I haven't heard a thing about Manny since the start of the season. I can't say that I expect he'll ever play another down for the Fins, or any other team in the league for that matter. We'll probably see him surface in Europe or Canada in a few years...maybe the Arena League.
 
Manny could be a very good player if he were to get his head straight, he is probably the best young tackle on the team along with Fred Evans who looked good during the pre-season.
 
Rod Wright can easily be our Richard Seymour or Johnathan Sullivan--boom or bust. Fred Evans was showing signs of life, but he can't crack the rotation.
 
I forgot about Rod Wright he was a projected first round pick before his injury and if he can live up to his potential Miami got a steal in the draft and a very good defensive tackle.
 
Fred Evans is the only one on the active roster, and from things I've read expect him to add more weight and be in the rotation as a NT next year.

Rod Wright is on IR for the remainder of the season, and we'll have to see what he does during camps and preseason next year as a Defensive End.

Manny Wright is on Medical leave this year and will get what I would think is his last opportunity next year at camps and pre-season to prove that he has grown up and is ready to fight for a job as a DT on this team because it is just not going to be given to him.

Wright said about week 3 or so that he plans on coming back and joining the taem next year or should i say his agent said so. probably realized hes still going to get F's at USC so its teh wiser choice to make millions instead of goin to study.
 
There is a ton of talent in those 4 young men. If Manny can get his head on right, if Rodrique gets healthy, if Fred gets bigger and stronger and if Vickerson gets better technique we will have an incredible D-Line with great depth. Of course, that's a lot of 'ifs' to worry about.
 
Manny has alot of talent but if he wants to blow a once in a lifetime chance let him. He'll regret it for the rest of his life and hopefully he'll learn from it.
 
Yeah the Manny situation is really sad. I get the feeling that he is done with football. He's a guy who is 6'6" 340 and a darn good athlete who's mobile and could be a dominant player in the NFL but I just don't think he wants it.
 
id love to get rod wright some playing time. depth on the dline is huge in this league. especially with the possibility of losing zgonina and or vonnie holliday in the offseason
