Manny Wright To Get Cut?

I'm not sure Coach Saban is very high on Manny. What are the odds he gets cut? If we do cut him..He'll get picked up by someone.

You don't waste your 5th round pick for next year on a guy you're going to cut. Saban knew before drafting Manny that he is 1-2 years away from being a player. The kid has a lot of upside and talent, just poor work ethic. There have been times at practice where he has been unblockable. He'll show those flashes 2-3 plays at a time. He's a young kid and he's not going to get cut.

yeah that can happen.... but only if we brong wanny back as our general manager.

Almost none, he would have to do something pretty bad to be cut, he has a one year pass based on his potential.
 
Here is what I think will happen. He will be put on PUP for a little while. Notice he was sick yesterday. Was he really sick? Saban will find a way to keep everyone in that he can. I would hate to see Josh Shaw go cus I think he has some good beef. Zgonina has looked better than he ever has IMO. We are trying to trade him and have been so I think that is telling.
 
The man is 21 years old. If we develop him for about three years, he'll be 24. If and when he gets that age and he turns out to be a great DT, he'll have what? 10, 12 years with the 'Fins?Cutting him, is out of the question and placing him on the PS is definitely out of the question. After enduring Wannstedt, I'm just as tired of seeing players exiting our roster and shining on other teams (a la Brian Griese) as people in Florida is tired of paying 2.65 a gallon for gas.
 
I think it depends on if Saban feels that what he may become(and the likely hood he'll get there) is worth the time and effort it will take getting him there.
 
Only way Manny gets cut is if he admits he was the one that leaked the stripper think to the Media, other wise he will be here for a couple years developing. Hopefully he can pick up the work ethic from JT or Zach.
