but now we are loving the pick by Randy/Cam. Great pick even before the Ricky news. I must say I always loved the way Ricky ran the ball and wanted him back this season but now I know that Ricky is a looser. the Dolphins are very lucky to have such a great back in Booker. yes, I said great because IMO he will be a lot better running back than most people think. He is very fast and has good hands and will excel as the 3rd down RB. Now that Ricky will be out of the picture Booker will have his chance to shine and show that he was worth the 3rd round pick by the Dolphins. I admit I smoke the Cronic sometimes and did not care that Ricky did but when you get thrown out of the NFL for it and continue to smoke even though your team is counting on you IMO makes you a total looser and I too say goodbye Ricky and hello Booker.:ninja:

Ricky has issues off the field that prevent him from smoking. I'm sad to see Ricky be in such hot waters because I want him to play but Booker seems pretty good and I do not doubt that he will combine with Ronnie to make a good duo of speed and power.

But you still have to give your hats off to Ricky for his plays on the field, one of the best Dolphins running backs ever.

I did say that I have always liked Ricky, Did I not?:goof:

Lorenzo Booker was on Sirius radio. He took some good natured kidding about cleaning his locker with clorox wipes to rid all the residue from Ricky (he has Ricky's old locker).

He is a well spoken and motivated type player who seems to be confident that he'll get a lot of touches in the offense this year. He mentioned a number of times how Coach Cam selected him because of his similar skillset with LT (let's hope).

Ahhh, thanks. He can only dream of that becoming reality. LT's in another universe as far as skill sets are concerned.

Lorenzo booker has comparable size to garbage travis minor (remember him) but he should be more agile, faster and must hvae better hands.

He could return punts and kick-offs if Tedd Gin Jr. isn't ready or if he goes down. He's good insurance BABY!

i think that if this was to happen b-fore the draft our picks will not be the same ones that we made, n about my hatt off to ricky men that one of the worst things that ever happen to the dolphins i can even remember how many draft picks n money all for what?????? men .

Travis Minor was not Garbage and you are very naive for saying so . Minor may not have been a premier back but he did a good job for the Dolphins and Fans liked him.:ninja:

Thats what you probably said about San Francisco's RB Frank Gore and now everyone the league thinks he is a great back.
No, I knew Frank Gore will turn out great. Only thing that kept him from being the top RB in the 05 draft was his 2 knee surgeries. Had he had a better health history, I wouldn't doubt if he were a Dolphin right now.

Either way, I'm glad we have Ronnie Brown.
