Brian Baldinger, Charlie Casserly and Pete Prisco all have us taking him at #14. Doesn't he have some off-the-field issues.

What's your thoughts on this CB?

Nope.

We just got rid of one player that quit on his team why would we draft another at #14. No freakin way. I've watched 4 games of his and there were too many instances where he gave no effort and looked disinterested. As someone else on here told me it was one of the reasons that led to his being kicked off the team.

I was just going to start this thread. I was going to see who people preferred between Peters and Jalen DB LSU. Peters seems to be the most physically gifted DB in this years class but comes with red flags. I don't know much about the LSU kid. Any input?

He's a hard player to Draft that early. Love his talent though.

But he's the kind of guy the first thing you ask yourself is can he be a professional while living in miami? Probably not..

Marcus Peters IMO is the best CB in this draft BUT he has a ton of maturity issues. He has an edge to him and that's what great CBs tend to have. Hopefully he has outgrown his immaturity with being dismissed from his team and being a father. I feel like these players tend to fall in the draft to the teams that can gamble and think they can develop him like the damn Patriots (Aqib Talib).

ive heard he is the best corner in the draft by some but to me Waynes is the only first round corner and should be long gone by the time we pick at 14

By the time the dust settles, I think people will be talking about Kevin Johnson vs Jalen Collins for the top CB spot.

I agree completely. Both corners listed looked better on film to me. I thought Johnson would be around 14-16 maybe with Collins maybe 25ish. I dont care that Waynes might be selected before them, but I wouldnt based off of anything that I have seen.

is Marcus Peters really getting spoken on this highly now... first rounder above others?

Outside of the physical attributes I've not been impressed with Collins. He seems to react slowly.

Kevin Johnson on the other hand is a baller. Instinctive, quick twitch, fundamentally sound player.

agreed here... collins doesnt have the route awareness yet, or pure footwork... most likely due to lack of experience in position.

Kevin Johnson on the other hand has it all... very natural and instinctive. i just wish he had some sort of size... his lower body is so wiry.

This guy is considered a first round guy talent wise, but unfortunately he seems to be a another Mike Wallace diva who throws a fit and tamtrum on the sidelines when he is unhappy. I think we should just look at drafting a guy like Kevin Johnson if he is there in Round Two.

What are the issues with P.J. Williams? It looks like his draft stock took a dive. While watching a few highlight videos of Cooper and Parker, I noticed he was defending pretty well but they were just making some incredible plays on the ball. Also, some of his highlight videos showed him getting the best of them at times.
