I like what he's doing against Georgia Tech. I hope he's coming into the draft next year. Maybe we can snag him without spending a first round pick.

Stupid ABC is showing ND v Washington here :shakeno:

What negatives you see in him? Just want to know.
same as most running QBs in college. too small, bad offense, etc. he'll go high due to his name

I see. I don't know about his offense. He did seemed to be more of a pocket passer in this game, though.

yeah as a pure passer i like him more than his brother for sure. not as strong of an arm, but seems to be more accurate. he gets great protection though...and the cast of characters around him is as good as you'll find in the country (USC being the exception)

Yeah. Marcus does havea strong arm. Not as strong and the older Vick. But hey, his accuracy compensates for that.

I dont know about that, he is 6 feet and 212 lb. I also dont think I would call him a runing qb at this point. Everyone has expected him to be but so far I have been impressed with the way he hangs in the pocket. You have to remeber too that he hasnt played much at all. I would love to have him but really doubt he will come out this year.

Bad offense? The 3rd quarter just started and they've put up 30 on GA Tech already. The ABC announcers are making a point about Marcus sitting in the pocket and throwing the ball. Maybe it's just this game (only one I've seen of him), but he looks pretty good so far. Of course, college is a different game and he's got a LOT of time back there. His O-line is doing the job.

Just realized I was watching a tape-delayed game. Here's the stats on Vick this week.
Virginia Tech Comp Att Yds Pct Y/A Sack YdsL TD Int
M. Vick 13 18 222 72.2 12.3 2 12 1 0

He has looked impressive to me as well. Physically, he looked really good. I don't know about the mental makeup, if he's a leader, good decision maker etc. That's the stuff that really separates a good college qb from a potential NFL guy.

The biggest issue about him is whether he actually has downfield vision, unlike his brother.

There are to many questions about him and I don't think he has proved enough if he leaves this year I don't think he will be drated high so I think he will play another year and prove his worth then we will see after a season or 2.
