Mare Or Vanderjagt For Kicker?

I read that the Cowboys released Vanderjagt, and since he wasn't doing good there and Olindo is one of the most expensive kickers in the league, Vanderjagt must be around the same price, a little bit cheaper, I think.

Would you rather have Vanderjagt and prove if he is gonna be able to be as good as he was in Indianapolis with us or would you rather have Olindo here?

As much as hes sturggling id take mare, i cant stand vanderjacts mouth and the cowboys obviouslt cut him for a reason.

Mare's better than a broken down Vanderjagt. But if we can get a young replacement to maybe groom under Mare, we should do that.

Both are struggling this year, but Mare still has a stronger leg than Vanderjagt and is much better than Vanderjagt in kickoffs.

well. if you get vanderjunk, you will STILL have to have a "kickoff" kicker because vanderpoossy is to yellow to kick off.

i know Mare has had a rough year, but I for one prefer to give the guy at least the rest of the season to get himself turned around. he's had bad years in the past, and bounced back last season.

he's had 2 blocks this season, and 6 50+ attempts, which is a lot more than he usually kicks in a year.

Mare for the rest of the season. If he continues to play as he his, he should renogotiate his contract or we look at someone else. Maybe look at a younger kicker in the draft or as a free agent in the off seasson.

I'd like to have Crosby from CU if we can get him, but out of the two...Mare in a heartbeat. I cant stand Vanderjagt's attitude, and Mare is still one of the top kickoff guys in the league, IMO.

Wow, I can't believe the amount of homers we have on this forum to produce even 13 votes for Mare. Those must have been jokes, or your average "I want to go against the grain" stubborn fool. Come on. Mare is done. Stick a fork in him and pass the coleslaw. Remember the good years because he deserves as much but it's time to move on. Nothing lasts forever.
