y do u have people have beef with him...it makes no sence...he was kickin 51 yaard field goal into the wind..not including the fact saban should of called timeout knowing it was r last chance to win this....also the pressure of kicking the field goal to take in into overtime....if he would of made it u all would think he was god....he avg. 81.1% of his field goals a day...he missed 53 out of 280 feild goals in his career...Vinatierti miss 58 and the only ppl with less misses than him is Akers and Mike....sooo he miss a field goal...the game would of never came down to a Field goal
 
What about the other 4 he missed this year? The beef is the fact that he makes the money he makes to make those kicks, and if he cannot make those kicks then fans have a right to be a little pissed..

I wouldnt wish that man on any team!! I broke my tv after he missed those kicks!:fire:
 
At 1-5 we don't need a premium kicker. If Mare is making more that $1M/year, he needs to be cut or asked to re-structure. Yes his ability to cause touchbacks on kickoffs would be missed but it is time to start infusing youth onto this losing team.

hey u think u can do better....go and suit up.....right now he is just like the rest of the team and he is just struggling
 
I still have love in my heart for Mare, but if given the chance i would have kicked him in the sack after that miss. :fh:

Whenever someone says in an arguement..."can you do better" the guy sucks....just from personal experience.

Mare has not made an important FG since he joined the team. Whenever there is a question about footing,...whether its our field in the dirt in the infield, or somewhere else where the field is not in the best shape...he will miss. He is a overpriced overrated choker. the only thing he is good for is kickoffs. I never feel comfortable with the game on the line when he comes in. Even when its a chip shot.

The money could definitely be spent better elsewhere.

i never said i could kick a fg...trust me we are better off with that college chick than me.....but the truth is mister dolfan(just sounds cool) mare made a cuple of good kicks and here is one against denver in 02 kick a 53 yarder to win the game....so not only are u wrong but also...well....wrong
