The Announcers said last week that his longest FG of his career was 54 yards, but I could of SWORE I remember him kicking one from 59 yards out. Maybe it was a playoff game though and they don't really count the stats for playoff games, but I Know he's kicked one from farther than 54, anyone else remember this or have a link to show his playoff stats???

Someone for the Dolphins hit a 59 yarder damn it, and I coulda swore it was Mare!!! IDK maybe it was Stayonovich?

Olindo Mare's career long field goal was 54 yards, I believe in the 98/99 season. You're definitely thinking of Pete Stoyanovich who hit a 59 yarder his rookie season.

Yeah 54 i've heard numerous times on broadcasts, it may seem longer he's got a hell of a leg. I thought Stoyanovich's was a 58 yarder which i do remember well, ah well.

I remember in a pregame they said he was kickig consistantly from 60 and up. I don't remember the game or anything though. I thought the way he was kicking Sunday they should have let him try the fg instead of that horrible punt.

I was at the Denver Sunday night game a few years ago where he won the game with a 50-something yarder (51 or 53). I was siting right in line with the goal post and I SWEAR it cleared the uprights halfway up. That kick could have gone 60 easy.

mare has the leg to kick a 60 yarder... does it in warmups. But its a different screnario game time. He should have been kicking a field goal instead of shanking an 8 yard punt last week. That punt brought out a "sorry mare" comment while I was at the game.

That was against the wind though, but i can see your point. Especially considering they tried to "trick" tampa and have Mare punt it, which was lame and stupid.....

Either that or we should have just went for it. I never understood Punting from inside the 40 yard line when you got a kicker with the leg to hit it from that distance. also half of the time the Punter kicks it through the damn endzone, so you only put them back what 15 yards or so???
